I lived for 26 years as a devout Mormon. While I truly loved God and wanted to live my life for him, the God I had been taught was not the God I know now. I believed that I needed to be perfect to please God. That every time I messed up I was disappointing Him. I believed that Jesus wasn’t just my savior, but was an example that it was possible for me to achieve perfection and only when I was walking perfectly would I please God. I now know that God is all loving and not only knows that I can’t be perfect, but came to earth as Jesus to die for me and cover me with His perfection. Jesus was not an example of how to live life and be perfect, He was an example of how to live life in relationship with God, which is possible only through Him. My mission with The Pink Apostle is to share my journey and bring a message of hope to those who are struggling, just as I once was—showing them the difference between merely knowing Jesus' name and truly experiencing His presence.

The disco ball represents every heart surrendered to Jesus. Made up of countless broken pieces, it shines by reflecting a greater light source—just as we, in our brokenness, reflect the light of Christ when we fully trust and believe in Him. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14
Salt symbolizes our transformative influence when we surrender to and partner with Jesus. Just as salt preserves and enhances flavor, our connection with Him safeguards truth and fills our lives with His love. By sharing His word, we preserve truth—and by letting His love shine through us, we add a unique, beautiful flavor to the world. “You are the salt of the earth.” – Matthew 5:13
The bow represents the childlike innocence and purity we receive through the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood. Just as a bow is carefully tied, it reminds us to stay secure under His covering, living as new creations, made whole and renewed in Him. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
